I have a love/hate relationship with my blog/other peoples blogs/anything online/e-readers. I see the use for them and how much they can help people. I'm cool with that.
But I hate reading them.
There are a few blogs I somewhat follow. I say somewhat because I may look at them once a week. There's something about reading on a computer that seems unnatural to me. It may be the angle of my screen compared to how I hold a book. Maybe its because I don't like my books glowing.
Personally, I think I'm going to take the popular stance of today and say this:
It's not my fault.
I'm pretty sure there is some undiagnosed illness that I have that renders me incapable from being able to read online which automatically makes me hate writing online.
In other words, don't blame me for not writing more frequently; I have a disease.
To my readers that have been on the edge of their seats, waiting like a kid for Christmas on when I would release my next blog, you're welcome. I'm also going to start consistently blogging (hopefully) every week and try to use a consistent schedule.
I've been told over and over that when you blog, even if no one reads it, blog often. So here's how I want it to go:
One week I'll write something Spiritual. This may be something I've learned, something I'm frustrated with, or something I just want your feedback on.
The next week I'll write something completely random. I'll try not to allow these to become dominated with Harper, poop, and baby walking posts, but you've now been warned.
The following week I'll try to review a book I've read or am reading.
The fourth week I will respond to comments, messages, or emails about anything.
A four week rotation of blogging.
This is for you, America.
This blog counts as my random blog. Next week will be a book review, so its a good time now to comment about something you want me to write on.
Let the conversation begin.
